ABOUT THE ARTIST
Diana Pendleton Wade is a retired registered nurse, mom, grandmother and cat lover who loves to paint. She and her husband of more than forty years, Gary, moved to Loveland, Colorado in 2001 after living on the Gulf Coast of Texas for thirty years.
Diana has studied watercolor since 2003 and pastel since 2004. Recent forays into the world of mixed media and abstract art have also proven energizing. The simple organic shapes of nature are especially inspirational to this artist who also enjoys painting landscapes, still life and animals.
She is also a writer of fiction, with seven years of continuing education at Rice University, Houston, Texas in novel writing, and she is a published short story writer.
